Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, (1542-1587). She married François II, King of France and became Queen of France. She returned to Scotland, where she was tried for treason and beheaded, after a long imprisonment. Old manufacture by Gustave Vertunni, France, circa 1935. Hollow-cast figurine, filled with plaster.
