Louis Antoine Fauvelet de Bourrienne (1769 -1834). He met Napoleon Bonaparte at the military school of Brienne. A friendship followed which ended with the death of the Emperor. Bourrienne was one of the very few who were on first-name terms with Napoleon. Old manufacture of Gustave Vertunni, France, around 1950. Solid lead figurine. Scale 55mm to the eye line.
