Henri IV, King of France and Navarre (1553-1610). He inaugurates the ruling branch of the Bourbons. Popular legend has left us the image of a good-natured king, loving women and good food. But he was undoubtedly one of our greatest kings, who renounced his Protestant faith in order to better rally all the French around his “white plume”. He died on May 13, 1610, assassinated by a certain Ravaillac. Old manufacture by Gustave Vertunni, France, around 1940. First version. Solid lead figurine. Scale 55mm to the line of the eyes. Overall height: 60 – 65mm.
