On the latter’s death in 1610, she held the regency until 1614, protecting with authority and intelligence the crown of her young son, the future Louis XIII. Old manufacture by Gustave Vertunni, France, circa 1950. Hollow-cast figurine, filled with plaster. Scale 55mm to the line of the eyes. Overall height: 60 – 65mm.
