Jean-Nicolas Stofflet (1753-1796). A Royalist general in the Vendée War, he succeeded Henri de La Rochejaquelein as General-in-Chief. Work by Pierre Décamps circa 1960. Executed in lead leaf on a rigid lead frame. Pierre Décamps worked extensively with Ballada, and numerous figurines from his workshop can be admired at the Musée de la figurine in Compiègne. Size 65mm.
