Henri de La Rochejaquelein (1772-1794). During the Vendée wars, he became Generalissimo of the Catholic and Royal Army, succeeding Maurice d’Elbée, from October 1793 until his death. Work by Pierre Décamps circa 1960. Executed in lead leaf on a rigid lead frame. Pierre Décamps worked extensively with Ballada, and numerous figurines from his workshop can be admired at the Musée de la figurine in Compiègne. Size 65mm.
