Mary Stuart, queen of Scotland, (1542-1587). She married François II, king of France and became queen of France. She returned to Scotland, where she was tried for treason and beheaded, after a long imprisonment. Old manufacture of Gustave Vertunni, France, around 1940. Hollow cast lead figurine, filled with plaster. Scale 55mm to the eye line. Overall height: 60 – 65mm. First version, rare.
