The latter installed her in Versailles, at the Trianon, covering her with honors, titles and gifts, thus arousing the hatred and rejection of the nobility who reproached the marquise for her commoner origins. Their affair will last until the death of the Marquise de Pompadour, in Versailles in 1764. Old manufacture of Gustave Vertunni, France, around 1940. Hollow lead figurine, filled with plaster.
