Line infantry officer (1807). Very first model from the “La Métallique” period (Belgium). The only representation of the soldier on parade, the head is removable. The mold is used for both soldiers (with rifles) and officers. For flag-bearers, the flag used is that of “Bertrand et Vertunni”. All known pieces and series have a Belgian origin. A head with a “bonnet d’ourson” is also known. No drums are known. Very rare. Gustave Vertunni , early 1930. Solid lead.
