Marie-Thérèse of Austria (1638-1683). Infanta of Spain and Portugal, Archduchess of Austria, she became Queen of France by her marriage to King Louis XIV, in Saint-Jean-De-Luz, in 1660. Their union sealed the Treaty of the Pyrenees which temporarily put an end to the Franco-Spanish confrontation. Old manufacture of Gustave Vertunni, France, around 1950. Hollow lead figurine, filled with plaster. Scale 55mm to the eye line. Overall height : 60 – 65mm.
