On the king’s death, she was ousted by Queen Marie de Médicis, who took over many of her possessions, including the Château de Chenonceaux. Early manufacture by Gustave Vertunni, France, circa 1940. Hollow lead figurine, filled with plaster. Scale 55mm to eye line. Overall height: 60 – 65mm.
