JRD. Tuareg seated (1931). This series of figurines was created in 1931, on the occasion of the colonial exhibition in Paris. First devoted to troops from North Africa and Indochina, this collection then expanded to include continental troops. Production continued until the start of the 1940 war. These soldiers were made from a composite material, in particular with slate powder. Height 6.5cm. Manufacture 1931-1940. Superb condition for this piece, the rarest of the series.
