HEYDE (Germany). Zoomorphic figure, representing a knitting cat, with noding head. The head is mounted on a leaf spring, which allows it to move easily. The Heyde firm has been the largest manufacturer of soldiers and lead figures in Germany since the end of the 19th century. It also develops a whole range of “trinkets”, in the style of Vienna bronzes, which it exports all over the world. Height 10 cm. Manufacture around 1920. Very good condition. Rare.
